Welcome

The Southside Park Master Plan is being conducted on behalf of the City of Atlanta Parks and Recreation Department and Department of Planning to create a long term plan of features and amenities for this underutilized 211-acre park. Residents of the area and interested parties are welcome and encouraged to participate in this study.

Meeting announcements and minutes will be posted on this web site throughout the process.

Study Area

Southside Park is roughly bounded by I-285 on the south, Jonesboro Road on the west, tributaries of Poole Creek and primarily undeveloped land on the north, and undeveloped parcels off Forrest Park Road on the east.
