Railside

Railside Lofts is a proposed $50-million mixed use development on 6.6 acres in the rapidly changing Castleberry Hill neighborhood just south of Downtown. The project will include 186 residential units, 35,000 square feet of retail/commercial space and a linear park along the Norfolk Southern rail line.  This is one of the largest parcels in the thriving Castleberry Hill area.  Railside Lofts is expected to be built in four phases over three years with construction beginning in the 3rd quarter of 2007. Railside is also the future home of TSW offices. The project takes a challenging site and creates a vibrant, mixed-use project that will enhance the street-level environment and solidify the edge of the neighborhood against the rail road tracks.
