TSW completes University of South Carolina Beaufort Master Plan

Tunnell-Spangler-Walsh & Associates was retained by the rapidly growing University of South Carolina Beaufort to develop a master plan that examined current facilities and put forth recommendations for expansion over the next 10 years. TSW conducted a detailed space analysis for their two campuses, the historic Beaufort and the Hilton Head Gateway campus, including 10-year projections for student growth and key facilities needed to accommodate growth.

Based on 10-year student population projections, TSW developed recommendations for both campuses, including new academic buildings, residence halls on the historic campus that would contribute to downtown’s vibrant atmosphere, and a new Convocation Center on the new campus to serve the university and the community.
