Tunnell-Spangler-Walsh Awarded the Highway 278 LCI Corridor Study

Tunnell-Spangler-Walsh & Associates (TSW) was recently selected as the planning consultant for the Highway 278 LCI Corridor Study in Covington, Georgia.

The Newton County LCI Multi-Jurisdictional and Citizens Taskforce chose TSW, in partnership with Marketek, Inc and URS Corporation, to head this study, which focuses on connecting two nodes along Hwy 278 in a way that creates one livable center. The two nodes are comprised of the existing central business district and an emerging activity center to the east of the City.

TSW will develop a vision for the US 278 Corridor that builds upon Covington’s historic character and sense of place while providing the growth necessary for the City’s population expansion.
